Beetle - Das Auto ...



Today, we shall bend over an advert of the famous brand Volkswagen. The German brand has choosen as place of shooting, the Nature. A sunbeam crosses the quiet forest, a beetle (an insect) enters the race. With two bandages white on the back, as racing cars. It doubles the other insects, by the right, by the left... Slow motions show us that it is the best one , and that it is probably going to win the race easily. The curve of the insect corresponds perfectly with the one of the VW's car. 

The comparison of the insect in the forest and the car in town is very utopian. Indeed, the insect does not pollute, it is very environment-friendly. That lets us imagine that the car of Volkswagen has also the  same characteristics. We know very well that the car of Volkswagen, even if it pollutes little, it is not environment-friendly !

Learn English

This advertisement reflects the importance of languages in our society today. Indeed, this family reflects any traditional family, the ideal family, even if the morals tend to change. Parents are dancing on a song rhythm. Children imitate them without any family member does not understand the meaning of it. If it was the case the parents would surely not be so playful. English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world and regarded by a lot as the current "international language". It is the second language most learned and studied around the world and the most used language on the Internet. English is everywhere. Today many songs are in English. Most people like these songs without knowing the meaning and this publicity shows the importance of studying this language and advertises for a training center.

Mc Donalds



This weekend, we decided to celebrate a McDonalds advertisement

The first McDonald's was created May 15, 1940. From 1 January 2011, the McDonald's chain now has more than 32 737 restaurants worldwide. This brand has become just like CocaCola Company, a symbol of Globalization.

The scene takes place in one of the fast food restaurant of the chain. Probably in an Asian Country,  because of the skin type of the couple, may us suggest that. A pretty young woman arrives with her ​​tray, and settled on the same table of a young manShe asks him :
- "Single ?"
- (Confused) .. Yes, I am..
- (Laughing) You should have the double !

The advert makes people smiled, because the young man do not understand on the right way, what the young lady was talking about. But because they are in one McDonald's they smile and eat like if it was not a problem. And we may even suppose that the Lady appreciated this young man. Well look the way she blinks her eyes ... 

In Mcdonald's, we do not have to be shy, we are ourselves ..
That's is the french slogan of the Chain "Come as you are"

Alcohol

This advert was created and broadcated in Sydney, in Australia. This short video takes place in a party, certainly a students party, which seems funny. We can look some guys who push a girl and a wife to drink alcohol  in saying that everybody are doing that during the party. People drink a lot of shots. Little time after, a couple of students are in a bedroom, the boy goes out and lets the girl alone, unconscious and naked in the bed, because he feels sick via the alcohol. Three guys enter in the room and and close the door behind them. We could just think to the next events... The girl's unconsciousness to drink without limit would have certainly consequences with these malicious guys. This advert hasn't a lucrative goal. It's a campaign destiny to young people who must be aware of uncontrolled alcohol risks. is an awareness campaign on risks of alcohol. It's an awarness campaign on risks of alcohol.
Nowadays, many young people drink alcohol in parties because the others pressure them to drink alcohol and always more.


There are more and more anti-drinking averts but the campaigns are more or less efficient. In fact, according studies, people don't drink less alcohol but there are less people which drive when they are alcoholic. However, there are still a lot of alcohol-related rape: "BE AWARE"

This week, we have decided to analyze one advertisement of the Campaign MAKE POVERTY HISTORY

This UK campaign started in 2005, The three demands of the campaign were "Trade Justice", Drop the debt and more and "better" aid. Their first advert was named "Click".
Many famous people joined the cause like Brad Pitt, Georges Clooney, Bono, Kate Moss, Justin Timberlake, Kylie Minogue and many others ... So many actors, actresses, singers, models that feel concerned by extreme poverty.

H&M by Madonna.


               

This week, we chose to analyze a clothes’ ad. A H&M one, in this advert, there are some elements which will probably permit to H&M Company to sell a lot. First, a certain rhythm is imposed since the beginning. The three peoplewalk in the same time. People which are present haven’t the same type of physic, which show that H&M’s wears are accessible andagree to each. Secondly, the word “FASHION” signifies that H&M’s stores are the temples of the fashion. The celebrity Madonna is also an advantage for this ad because some of people would look for her. She incarnates beauty, mode, and success. Madonna decides to relook the young Chinese women. After many fittings, she tells her that the combinaison is made for her. It signifies that each woman could go to H&M with a bad style and go out dressed beautifully and with class, like a celebrity.

Note that all girls in the advertising are thin and pretty.
