Bin Laden' Death




Last Week, President Obama announces that The chief of Al-Qaida was dead. The 1st May 2011, Osama Bin Laden was killed by a gunshot. It's was not a lucky shot, it is the results of months and years of works. After having enough informations about the localization of Bin Laden, President Obama authorized a team of US Navy SEAL to catch the chief of Al-Qaida, responsible for the terrrible terrrorist attack of the 11th September 2001. This operation was called  Operation Neptune Spear. Now, the keyword the most check on Google is, in one day become : Bin Laden death. This 1st May 2011 became the luckiest Americans' day


Some people think that we should not be happy at someone death. Athough, this person was the most horrific that we can imagine. 
Others don't believe in the death of the leader of Al-Qaida. Many fake pictures or videos showing us the death of Bin Laden are on internet.

The royal wedding has created a huge trade. There has been a commercialization of many products to the effigy of the young couple.The wedding took place last April 29 but the products have all been declined before.This marriage which has been dreaming more than one girl had a huge economic impact. The British Post proposes a set of stamps bearing the portrait of Prince William and Kate Middleton. These stamps will be illustrated by two official portraits. "We think that these stamps will meet a real success in the United Kingdom and the rest of the world, "said the director of The Post, Stephen Agar. The stamp cheaper (the one with the portrait casual) will be sold and 52 cents will be used for mail within the United Kingdom. The other, sold 1.10 GBP (1.25 €) will be used for international mail.
Many other products have been created: dolls, condoms, Canadian coins, mugs, beer "Kiss Me Kate "....
The marriage of Kate and William could bring between 600 million euros to the Britanic business.

The Big Thunder Mountain



The Big Thunder Mountain (le train de la mine) is one of the more famous attractions in Disneyland Paris. It was built 19 years ago, at the opening of the park. Sunday, April 24th last, during the Easter weekend when the crowd was several ten of thousand visitors, an accident occurred. A 38 year old man was transported by helicopter at the hospital following an accident in the Big Thunder Mountain. An artificial rock made of resin separated from the attraction and then hit five passengers. Four of the five have no serious injuries but one suffered a head injury. Officers and handlers cannot explain this accident because all attractions are verified each day. 
At the Economic side :
The accident comes at a bad time while the turnover of Disneyland Paris - Walt Disney Studios declined in 2010 about 2.9 million to attain $ 685 3 million reflecting a decline in attendance from 3% to 15 million visits. At the Paris Bourse, investors are indifferent to the news. Euro Disney shares win 0.57% to 8.78€ after the first half hour of trading, while the CAC 40 lost 0.24%.

France still resisted during this time but the health minister, Roselyne Bachelot, announced on Friday, April 16, that she have signed the order making the shocking images required on all packages. There are 14 differents pictures that we can see on all kinds of packages. Producers and sellers of tobacco, have only one year to sell their stock after April 16, 2011, they absolutely have to put these shocking pictures on their packets of tobacco.

From 11th March 2011 to 11th April 2011, the « Sidaction » collected donations. 5 613 932 € was collected during this month. Donation could be done by phone, sms, letters and internet on the official website. 
All net funds collected during the 2011 Sidaction allows the association to continue its commitment to redistributing them equally: 50% for research and care, 50% for prevention programs and assistance to patients in France and in 29 developing countries. According to the Institute for Public Health, the two populations most affected by HIV are still men who have sex with men and people of sub-Saharan Africa.
There were lot of advertisings on TV during this month and everyone can tell that. This year, organizers of “Sidaction” thanks a lot the medias which have been a real support for the campaign. There was never before a mediatization like that.
iIt is a medical fact that nobody can forget that nobody can ignore !!

We can see the famous actress Anne Hathaway (The Key Actress of the movie " The Devil wears Prada"), she is going out of a film set of cinema. She has with her, this new "Magnifique" perfume, she feels beautiful, she trusts her. Men are not insensible to it !

This advertising shows us that every women that will wear this perfume are going to become more Magnifique (magnificent) than they are already.
All  women are going to become a star, to have the same feeling as Anne.

In every advertisements that have a relationship with Luxury, we find the best stars there.
The stars like Luxury! They swears only by its !

Men and women wish to become stars, and take in model their idols. Star's system works and make sell a lot !

Mad Mad House - Reality TV

"Mad Mad House"was created and broadcasted in 2004 in the United States. This reality show remains the system of ten young people trapped in a house and filmed all day. Except here, the house looks like a haunted mansion and its occupants are as witch, vampire, voodoo priestess, naturist and "modern primitive ". Producers selected ten candidates perfectly stereotyped. Each candidate with the hope to win the 100,000 dollars. This reality show seems silly. Reality TV is present over the world and producers are spending thousands of dollars or euros to make it. However, some reality TV can be dangerous or even a real fiasco. Many commercials are shown before the launch of reality TV but their popularity is declining. For example, TF1 decided to deprogram the show "Carré Viip"after the poor performance of hearings conducted by reality TV. It during only a month. The reality shows can also be dangerous in an american reality TV, a young girl received a watermelon in the head. Moreover, by being useless and without life lesson, these reality TV that cost lots of money put aside major humanitarian problems such as the recent tsunami in Japan. The money spent on these reality shows have been more useful to help many families in distress there. Reality shows attract lot of people, and particularly teenagers who aren't interested in serious and important facts.

Beetle - Das Auto ...



Today, we shall bend over an advert of the famous brand Volkswagen. The German brand has choosen as place of shooting, the Nature. A sunbeam crosses the quiet forest, a beetle (an insect) enters the race. With two bandages white on the back, as racing cars. It doubles the other insects, by the right, by the left... Slow motions show us that it is the best one , and that it is probably going to win the race easily. The curve of the insect corresponds perfectly with the one of the VW's car. 

The comparison of the insect in the forest and the car in town is very utopian. Indeed, the insect does not pollute, it is very environment-friendly. That lets us imagine that the car of Volkswagen has also the  same characteristics. We know very well that the car of Volkswagen, even if it pollutes little, it is not environment-friendly !

Learn English

This advertisement reflects the importance of languages in our society today. Indeed, this family reflects any traditional family, the ideal family, even if the morals tend to change. Parents are dancing on a song rhythm. Children imitate them without any family member does not understand the meaning of it. If it was the case the parents would surely not be so playful. English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world and regarded by a lot as the current "international language". It is the second language most learned and studied around the world and the most used language on the Internet. English is everywhere. Today many songs are in English. Most people like these songs without knowing the meaning and this publicity shows the importance of studying this language and advertises for a training center.

Mc Donalds



This weekend, we decided to celebrate a McDonalds advertisement

The first McDonald's was created May 15, 1940. From 1 January 2011, the McDonald's chain now has more than 32 737 restaurants worldwide. This brand has become just like CocaCola Company, a symbol of Globalization.

The scene takes place in one of the fast food restaurant of the chain. Probably in an Asian Country,  because of the skin type of the couple, may us suggest that. A pretty young woman arrives with her ​​tray, and settled on the same table of a young manShe asks him :
- "Single ?"
- (Confused) .. Yes, I am..
- (Laughing) You should have the double !

The advert makes people smiled, because the young man do not understand on the right way, what the young lady was talking about. But because they are in one McDonald's they smile and eat like if it was not a problem. And we may even suppose that the Lady appreciated this young man. Well look the way she blinks her eyes ... 

In Mcdonald's, we do not have to be shy, we are ourselves ..
That's is the french slogan of the Chain "Come as you are"

Alcohol

This advert was created and broadcated in Sydney, in Australia. This short video takes place in a party, certainly a students party, which seems funny. We can look some guys who push a girl and a wife to drink alcohol  in saying that everybody are doing that during the party. People drink a lot of shots. Little time after, a couple of students are in a bedroom, the boy goes out and lets the girl alone, unconscious and naked in the bed, because he feels sick via the alcohol. Three guys enter in the room and and close the door behind them. We could just think to the next events... The girl's unconsciousness to drink without limit would have certainly consequences with these malicious guys. This advert hasn't a lucrative goal. It's a campaign destiny to young people who must be aware of uncontrolled alcohol risks. is an awareness campaign on risks of alcohol. It's an awarness campaign on risks of alcohol.
Nowadays, many young people drink alcohol in parties because the others pressure them to drink alcohol and always more.


There are more and more anti-drinking averts but the campaigns are more or less efficient. In fact, according studies, people don't drink less alcohol but there are less people which drive when they are alcoholic. However, there are still a lot of alcohol-related rape: "BE AWARE"

This UK campaign started in 2005, The three demands of the campaign were "Trade Justice", Drop the debt and more and "better" aid. Their first advert was named "Click".
Many famous people joined the cause like Brad Pitt, Georges Clooney, Bono, Kate Moss, Justin Timberlake, Kylie Minogue and many others ... So many actors, actresses, singers, models that feel concerned by extreme poverty.

H&M by Madonna.


               

This week, we chose to analyze a clothes’ ad. A H&M one, in this advert, there are some elements which will probably permit to H&M Company to sell a lot. First, a certain rhythm is imposed since the beginning. The three peoplewalk in the same time. People which are present haven’t the same type of physic, which show that H&M’s wears are accessible andagree to each. Secondly, the word “FASHION” signifies that H&M’s stores are the temples of the fashion. The celebrity Madonna is also an advantage for this ad because some of people would look for her. She incarnates beauty, mode, and success. Madonna decides to relook the young Chinese women. After many fittings, she tells her that the combinaison is made for her. It signifies that each woman could go to H&M with a bad style and go out dressed beautifully and with class, like a celebrity.

Note that all girls in the advertising are thin and pretty.
